Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to give up your training or keep your feet up; instead, it’s one of the most important times to remain fit, strong and active! Exercise, in particular, resistance training, has a myriad of benefits to both you and your baby. Not only is training recommended and encouraged if you have been classed as a low-risk pregnancy but it has also been shown to improve recovery in the post-partum period.

The Program

The program is designed to improve or maintain your strength and fitness during trimesters 1 and 2. It has been designed based on scientific evidence for exercise during pregnancy and follows the ACOG and RCOG guidelines to ensure you develop strength and muscle tone in a safe and effective manner. As your body changes, the program changes with you to ensure you are performing exercises that are safe for you and your bump. Each phase of the program targets specific muscle groups that can become weak as your bump grows, which will help you to maintain optimal posture and mobility throughout your pregnancy to help you remain pain-free, fit, and healthy. and prepared for the demands of birthing.

The program is accompanied by a comprehensive Training Guide, which details contraindications to be aware of, benefits of training in pregnancy, and common concerns in trimesters one and two. You will also have access to our exclusive Pregnancy Training group, where you will be able to ask Amanda, our certified pre- and post-natal coach, any questions.

Designed to suit limited equipment

This program has the option of either a gym or a free-weight-only program. The full gym program only uses equipment that is commonly found in commercial gyms around the world. The free-weight program only uses only dumbbells and resistance bands. You will be able to select which program type you prefer once purchased.

Manageable Workout Durations

All workouts have been designed to be completed within 60 minutes so you don't have to spend hours training!
